Please contact the sugarhouse you want to visit ahead of time.

Please definitely call the sugarhouses and businesses with yellow leaves or blue pins if you want to visit to make sure they are open.

Maple Day Activities Heasley Homestead Maple will be offering tours of the sugar bush and sugar house. Learn how sap is gathered from the sugar bush, boiled in the evaporator to become maple syrup, and then filtered and bottled. Come taste the different grades of syrup along with samples of maple candy, maple walnuts, maple cream and other sweet treats. Pure West Virginia Maple products will be available for purchase. Hours are 9a to 5p each day. Please come dressed for the weather.
