Description of Business
Jack Mountain Maple was established in 2015. Intentions were to start as a hobby to keep us occupied during the winter months. We opened a few trees with old metal spiles and metal buckets to collect the sugar water. With time and experience, our hobby grew into a business. Today, we open 400 taps on 50 acres with plans to increase to 2,000 taps! We now have an advanced collecting system comprised of interconnecting lines and holding tanks, along with a reverse osmosis machine. We love that our family (even the grandkids) and friends do this together, and while we're making gallons of yummy maple syrup, the memories made are far sweeter!
