Please see this post for a letter from the International Maple Syrup Institute with strategies for boosting sales during the pandemic:
I went to a Farmer’s Market here in Maryland and it was very well run. There was only one way in, and they had a washing station much like the one in the instructions. They provided gloves and required all customers to wear masks. They had a few check-out stations with different colored table cloths and as customers came in, they assigned them a colored table. So only so many people could shop. The products were arranged on tables that formed a rectangle with the workers inside the rectangle with iPads with credit card readers. The customers got what they wanted and brought their goods to their assigned table where they checked out.
I suppose all the following info is still good, though Maple Days is long over:
- Below, there are two signs – one horizontal, one vertical, which you may wish to hang near your hand-washing station.
- You may also download a coronavirus fact sheet from West Virginia University below.
- The CDC has the latest and greatest guidance available at this link.
